Job tasks and duties
Wij(k)werken Beijum is for all residents of Beijum, but especially for district residents who do not have regular work. At Wijkwerken, employees and participants take the first step towards paid work.
Wijk(k)werken focuses on work and participation for and by local residents.
- Carrying out all kinds of sewing work on behalf of clients.
- Mending various types of clothing for rental companies.
- Designing and making leather bags, clothing, mascots etc.
- Measuring and making home textiles.
- Eventually purchasing fabrics, materials and supplies.
- Be available for at least 16 hours a week.
Job skills and qualities
- You have an interest in textiles and creative work.
- You have an active working attitude.
- You can work both independently and in a team.
- You keep your appointments.
