Job tasks and duties
The Twelfth House offers work that may be filled according to one's own ability. Work is a means of connecting, providing a meaningful daytime activity and restoring self-esteem. We are looking for someone to support us logistically (driver).
What activities do we do?
- Carriage/ transportation.
- In addition, you will do shopping and all other occurring things.
- Mostly in the mornings, but also several afternoons a week we do all kinds of distribution jobs in the city of Groningen.
- Sometimes we dispose of bulky waste, for example, but taking away packaging can also be part of the tasks.
- You accompany a group of long-term addicted men, who are motivated to have something to do during the day.
- You are available for a minimum of 16 hours a week.
Job skills and qualities
It is nice if you have a strong character and empathy with our target audience without losing your own direction.
Extra information
We check during an introductory meeting what the volunteer likes and wants to grow towards; what the situation is in which he or she is and what is needed for a personal step. We are looking for in a volunteer someone who, after a short familiarisation period, will quickly be able to work independently and strengthen the team.
