Job tasks and duties
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers, who are experts by own experience on living with disabilities, to join our Working Group Accessible Groningen.
Our working group is active in all areas of the UN Convention ‘Equal rights/opportunities of and for people with disabilities’ and is an official advisory comunity of the city of Groningen.
Within the working group, we work together in a network organisation on themes from the UN Convention such as accessibility of buildings and public space, living, education, work, mobility, sports, culture, communication and imaging.
Each participant brings in their own expertise and skills and often preference for certain themes.
Specially people from the former municipality of Haren and Ten Boer are asked to respond.

Extra information
You will work with all expert-by-own experience-volunteers.
There is lots of opportunity for your own initiative (as long as it fits within the WTG's objectives and mission, of course).
