Job tasks and duties
As an animal carer, you will come into contact with the animals. A large part of your work consists of cleaning the enclosures. A clean enclosure is very important for the well-being of the animals. You will also give the animals extra attention by playing and/or walking with them. The animals really need this quality time. The work can be both physically and emotionally demanding. Are you confident and do you have a big heart that beats for animals? Then we would like you on our team.
- Cleaning the animal enclosures.
- Giving attention to the animals (playing, walking, grooming).
- Maintaining enclosures, building and garden.
- Desk duties.
Job skills and qualities
In addition to endorsing the aims of the Animal Welfare Society, you have or are:
- An animal lover.
- Physically and emotionally strong.
- A great sense of responsibility.
- Someone who can work well independently and in a team.
- Flexible attitude.
