You will do interesting, fun and meaningful volunteer work at one of the largest volunteer organisations in the Netherlands. You will work with other volunteers in a nice team, with whom you will also do the preparation and training together. You can always get support, advice and guidance from the main leadership if needed.
Job tasks and duties
There are children who cannot go on holiday. For whatever reason. Especially for these children, Humanitas organises holiday weeks in the summer. A team of volunteers provides the children with a wonderful holiday week. These volunteers guide the children and provide the program with lots of fun activities, relaxation and fun at the holiday location. Each volunteer has a group of 4 children under his/her care, with whom he/she spends the whole week.
Job skills and qualities
Do you enjoy dealing with children? Are you enthusiastic, creative and patient, but can also act when necessary? And do you like working together in a team? Because you will not be alone. You will receive good preparation through a training day.
