Job tasks and duties
- You will help with individual attention in the group, with a regular member of staff always present.
- Assist with coffee/tea and possibly with hot meals.
- Assisting at activities.
- In the afternoon/evening you will help with the bread meal, and afterwards drink coffee, etc.
Job skills and qualities
- Have affinity with elderly people with dementia.
- Be patient, understanding and helpful.
- Have or want to learn about dementia.
Extra information
We are looking for a volunteer for our living room where elderly people with dementia spend the day from 10am-1.30pm
We are also looking for a volunteer for our living room from 16.00/16.30 to 19.00, to help out during the bread meal, and afterwards have a nice coffee together etc.
