In practice, it turns out to be a very rewarding volunteer job. Everyone just gets happy about it, it's so simple.
We always describe it as: we give passengers the feeling of "the wind through your hair" again.
People often have stories to tell when they drive through the neighbourhood where they used to live, for example.
Job tasks and duties
Our foundation is looking for:
- Drivers of the rickshaw, a "cargo bike", electrically supported with 2 seats at the front.
- Board members of the Foundation, which has recently been established.
The first task is very practical and does require some dexterity and strength, and it should appeal to you to deal with the target group, mostly elderly people.
The second task is aimed at support in the form of thinking along, particularly about the further development of Cycling All Years in the city.

Job skills and qualities
You must enjoy working with the elderly. You will get a few instructional lessons to learn how to handle the rickshaw. The target group is frail, you have to take that into account too. If you like cycling, being outdoors and providing an enjoyable ride through City (and a bit of Ommeland) then it will be a fun outing for both passenger and driver!
With regard to board work for the Foundation, we are looking for candidates who e.g. have a network in care and welfare work. And furthermore, someone who can think along about the further development of FAJ in the city and about cooperation with other local initiatives.
