Buddy

Do you enjoy helping people who are struggling with debt or financial problems? Then become a buddy and build a relationship of trust with a participant from the De Hoogte neighbourhood who could really use your support. The goal is to give someone back the prospect of a good future. You make a difference in the life of a participant, but it can also be of great significance for you to contribute to this.

• You will look at the situation with the resident and together you will come up with a plan of action.
• You map out what this person needs in order to regain perspective for the future.
• You offer support and work towards the goal he/she has in mind.
• By your personal attention you can already be invaluable. It can give the air and space needed to think about the future.
• It is important not to judge, but to work with someone.

• You have an affinity with the target group and debt problems, as an experience expert you are also welcome to join us.
• You are sociable and have good communication skills.
• You enjoy supporting people and giving them perspective on the future.
• You are a connector and a go-getter, you do not judge.
• You are open and have a sense of responsibility.
• You live in De Hoogte or the Korreweg neighbourhood or you know the area well.
