Fundraiser

Place the World connects people, far and near. Because only together can we make the world fairer and more beautiful.

Our approachable volunteer organisation is an educational activity centre where we share knowledge and inspiration about a lifestyle close to nature and the world's multicolour.

For these activities, we are constantly looking for financial resources. For part of our activities, the meeting function, we use grants, funds and project funds. Fundraiser is a new position at Place the World. We are looking for a volunteer who can give substance to this position. This includes:

• You will contribute to further developing contact with existing donors.
• You will handle questions from donors and ensure proper registration of data.
• Execute mailings to donors.
• Recruit new (private) donors.
• Organising events for (potential) private donors.
• You make applications to funds based on prepared project plans.

• Enthusiastic about the vision and objective of Place the World.
• Having experience in fundraising is a plus.
• Able to function independently and take initiative.
• Able with word processing and mail programs.
• At least one half-day per week is available.
• Communicative and good interpersonal skills.
