Job tasks and duties
The work can be very diverse. In consultation with the board it will be decided exactly what you will do. This can also change along the way. See below a selection of possible activities.
- Thinking about the direction of the studio, such as which activities take place and how to market them, financing all this, etc.
- Eventually attend board meetings (about once every 3 weeks).
- Recruit, select, induct and supervise volunteers, participation job, interns or other ways of employing students.
- Organise consultations with all volunteers, participation job and interns.
- Create duty roster for sewing café and arrange substitution.
- Execute marketing, communication and PR activities such as placing and maintaining messages on the website and social media, handle mailings, make flyers, posters and the like, print and distribute them.
- (Helping with) setting up, coordinating, organising and carrying out all kinds of activities such as courses, workshops, group outings, presence at markets.
- Maintain administration, answer e-mails.
- Stock and purchase office materials, haberdashery, kitchen/canteen supplies.
- Networking: making and maintaining contact with neighbourhood organisations, suppliers, possible cooperation partners, etc.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- Minimum MBO working and/or thinking level.
- Have affinity with textiles.
- Have ideas on activities, PR, financing, etc.
- Coördinate and organise.
- Have a hands-on, independent, proactive and practical attitude.
- Have entrepreneurial experience.
- Cooperate and be flexible.
