Animal keeper

As an animal carer, you will come into contact with the animals. A large part of your work consists of cleaning the enclosures. A clean enclosure is very important for the well-being of the animals. You will also give the animals extra attention by playing and/or walking with them. The animals really need this quality time. The work can be both physically and emotionally demanding. Then we would like to have you on our team! This is a position for 4 or more hours per week. The employee should preferably live in the Groningen area.

The job is for 4 or more hours per week.

• Cleaning the animal enclosures.
• Giving attention to the animals (playing, walking, grooming).
• Maintaining enclosures, building and garden.
• Desk duties.

• In addition to endorsing the aims of the Animal Protection Society, you have or are 16 years or older.
• An animal lover.
• Physically and emotionally strong.
• A great sense of responsibility.
• Someone who can work well independently and in a team.
• Flexible attitude.
