Place the World connects people, far and near. Because only together can we make the world fairer and more beautiful.
Our approachable volunteer organisation is an educational activity centre where we share knowledge and inspiration about a lifestyle close to nature and the world's multicolour. We do so honestly, respectfully and enjoyably. We work together with schools, churches, civil society organisations and local authorities. We share income and knowledge with projects in other parts of the world, in which we are closely involved.
The function:
- Create as a team a varied workshop offer for different target groups around the themes sustainable lifestyle, world techniques in creative and culinary fields and cultural themes’s. Offerings can varyëren from lectures, films to do-workshops.
- Supervising the workshops and groups coming to follow an activity
(from preparation to clean-up)
Job skills and qualities
- Wide interest in a lifestyle close to nature and interest in other cultures.
- Organisational talent and an eye for trends.
- Commercial acumen.
- Experience and skills in publicity.
- Practical attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- 3-4 hours per month especially on evenings and weekends.
