Job tasks and duties
Are you also energising informal carers? With us you can be active for informal carers in various ways. For example, by offering a listening ear over the phone, manning a consulting hour in a neighbourhood and helping with various activities. Just a few hours a week can make a difference for a carer.
We are looking for people who want to make contact with carers in various neighbourhoods in the city.
For various neighbourhoods in the city, we are looking for people who want to liaise with a group of informal carers in a neighbourhood. You will do this in close cooperation with the Mantelzorg Steunpunt Mantelzorg employee from the neighbourhood.

Job skills and qualities
You are someone who;
- Able to listen and take a genuine interest in the world of a carer.
- Liked to provide information and support.
- Has an open attitude.
- Does not mind a bit of administrative work via computer.

Taking care of another person can be very satisfying, but it can also be hard.
The Mantelzorg Steunpunt offers informative, practical and emotional support to help informal carers cope with this care and avoid becoming overburdened. From the support centre, volunteers are in regular contact with informal carers who are known to us. By phone, email or in a personal conversation, they listen to the situation and provide information and support where possible.
