Job tasks and duties
Have you worked in the police or ambulance? The Animal Ambulance Groningen is looking for decisive people who can quickly switch gears and act in special situations. You have an overview, are self-managing and know how to get things done. Would you like to work at least 2 days a week for the Animal Ambulance? Then contact us.
- Collecting sick and injured animals with the animal ambulance.
- Taking sick and injured animals to the vet or specialised shelter.
- Collection, identification and disposal of dead animals.
- Work in the control room.
- Various organisational tasks.
- Household tasks that keep the Animal Ambulance Groningen running.
Job skills and qualities
- Reliable and flexible.

- You have a driving licence. Not necessary, but we find it useful.
Extra information
- As a volunteer, you will receive in-house training. You are also required to take an abbreviated first aid training course, which is reimbursed.
- You will remain a volunteer with the Animal Ambulance Groningen for at least 1 year.
- Because it is specialist work, you will be given a one-off intensive familiarisation period of 4 shifts per week for 6 weeks. After the familiarisation period, you can choose the number of days in the week in consultation.
