Job tasks and duties
The Animal Ambulance Groningen is looking for people for the control room and ambulance services. You will work shifts of 5 hours per day on average. You will also rotate one night shift every 14 days and one weekend shift.
- Collecting sick and injured animals with the animal ambulance.
- Taking sick and injured animals to the vet or specialised shelter.
- Collection, identification and disposal of dead animals.
- Work in the control room.
- Various organisational tasks.
- Household tasks that keep the Animal Ambulance Groningen running.

- You have a driving licence. Not necessary, but we find it useful.
Extra information
- As a volunteer, you will receive in-house training. You will also be required to attend an abbreviated first aid training course, which will be reimbursed.
- Because it is specialist work, you will be given a one-off intensive familiarisation period of several shifts per week for 4 weeks. After the induction period, you can choose the number of days in the week by mutual agreement.
