Job tasks and duties
We are a foundation for and by residents of the Lewenborg neighbourhood. There is a meeting place at the coffee table, a thrift shop and there is always someone there with a listening ear.
Everyone, from any background, is welcome in De Oude Bieb.
We work on the basis that everyone has a talent that can be used to help yourself and others move forward.
We are looking for a volunteer for the position of hostess/host.
The work consists of:
- Drinking coffee with the visitors, offering a listening ear, signalling role.
- Creating a pleasant atmosphere at the table
- Make sure everything is ready to welcome visitors
- Making and serving coffee/tea
- Washing up and cleaning (toilets, tables, vacuuming, mopping).
- Participating in the hosts/hostesses consultation.
Job skills and qualities
- You are available for at least 2 half-days (min. 8 hours) more is of course always possible!
- You can work in a team but can also work independently.
- You are sociable and have good communication skills.
- You have a positive attitude and also know how to convey this to guests.

The vacancy can be filled as a volunteer position or in the form of a participation job (if you receive social assistance benefits under the Participation Act and meet the other conditions).
